A pretty owl design on a hardanger draw string bag. 

This design is from Permin's collection of hardanger and has a black and white chart printed 10 stitches to 1.5 centimetres. The pattern is worked in satin stitch, cross stitch, buttonhole stitch, four-sided stitch, eyelets, Kloster blocks and woven bars. The design uses two weights of white cotton over 100 by 65 threads. There are stitch diagrams and making up instructions.
